Large 68' x 160' x 20' Hay Shed

A simple, large three-sided hay shed for covered storage and convenient equipment access

Designed For You

Building Customizations

Built to protect valuable hay from premature spoilage while maintaining convenient access for tractors during daily operations, Jason’s 68’ x 160’ hay shed delivers large-scale, flexible covered storage for his farm. The open-sided design allows for seamless movement of equipment while keeping hay protected from moisture and weather exposure.

Large Covered Storage Area

Designed for High-Volume Hay Storage

With over 10,000 square feet of covered space, Jason’s large hay shed is built to handle a significant inventory of hay while keeping it dry and well protected from moisture. The size of the building provides confidence knowing the shed will continue to support both current and future storage needs.

In a hay barn, height is just as important as width and height. With a 20’ height, the structure increases vertical storage capacity, allowing square bales to be stacked up to five high and maximizing the usable space within the building.

Flexible Storage Options

Capable of More Than Hay Storage

The scale of this hay shed allows it to serve more than a single purpose. When not fully utilized for hay storage, the building provides valuable covered space for equipment such as tractors, balers, and trailers—keeping critical assets protected from weather exposure.

This flexibility allows the structure to adapt to seasonal changes and shifting storage needs, making it a practical, multi-use solution for the farm.

Features

68'

A partial, 68’ sidewall provides protection without limiting access.

Open Sided Design

Open Access for Easier Loading and Unloading

The open sided design maximizes accessibility, allowing equipment to move freely in and out of the structure. The open front and side improve efficiency during peak farming seasons, reducing handling time and simplifying daily workflows.

At the same time, the building provides essential cover for hay on three and a half sides, providing protection from driving rains, helping preserve quality, reduce spoilage, and offer a flexible area to store farm equipment.

Features

18'

On the partially open side of the hay shed, steel columns on concrete piers are spaced 18’ apart, providing clearance for equipment to get inside.
