Insulated Farm Shop With Office & Wash Bay

The ultimate farm building combines a heated shop with office, storage, and wash bay spaces for efficient daily operations

Designed For You

Building Customizations

Winner of the NFBA’s Masters Division ‘Building of the Year’, this impressive 110’ x 120’ x 22′ farm shop with office and wash bay blends functionality and striking aesthetics to meet the demands of Wendell’s thriving farm.

Wash Bay

Dedicated Area for Equipment Maintenance

A sizeable section of Wendell’s insulated farm shop is a dedicated wash bay for his equipment. From routine washes to heavy duty cleaning, the wash bay plays a key role in keeping operations running smooth by maintaining Wendell’s fleet of tractors and farm equipment.

The wash bay’s thoughtful layout allows for easy entry and exit with opposing overhead doors for pull-through access while offering plenty of space to have multiple pieces of machinery in the bay at once.

Special consideration was given to the structure’s ability to withstand the rigors of daily washing by including sealant in between the metal sheets to prevent water damage.

Features

30' x 120'

The wash bay spans approximately 3,600 square feet to accommodate large equipment, and provides enough space to wash multiple pieces of farm machinery at once.

Equipment Storage

Finished Space for Storage & Maintenance

The largest section in Wendell’s farm shop is an expansive muti-purpose area to perform maintenance and repairs on his fleet of farm equipment and to store it away from the elements when not in use.

Wendell’s shop adds significant value to his farm operations by providing a secure, weather-protected space for his team to maintain and store equipment year-round. This helps reduce downtime and minimizes repair and maintenance costs that could arise from weather-related damage.

With a fully finished interior, Wendell’s building provides features that make working on equipment comfortable, including insulation, wall and roof metal, and a concrete floor.

Features

8,150 Sq Ft

The expansive, clear span interior of Wendell’s farm shop with office and wash bay gives him ample space to store and maintain his fleet of farm equipment.

Premium Exterior Features

Elevated Exterior with High-End Features

A combination of premium design elements provides visual impact and a distinctive look on the exterior of Wendell’s building.

The wrap-around porch is accessible on the first floor and the upper mezzanine, offering a covered space for Wendell and his team to enjoy an outdoor break. Formed with exposed posts, the porch adds to the striking design of the building. Versetta Stone wainscoting along a portion of the exterior further elevates the appearance of the building, while metal wainscoting continues the premium aesthetic.

Features

383 Sq Ft

The wrap-around porch provides an outdoor space that’s ideal for taking in the panoramic views of the surrounding farmland.

Mezzanine

Extra Storage & Workspace

The mezzanine in Wendell’s agricultural building was designed to add office workspace, a kitchen area and storage for tools or office supplies. By creating a second level in the building, the mezzanine offers extra square footage for various needs and keeps the main workshop space tidy and organized.

This added space contributes to the building’s efficiency and allows several key functions of Wendell’s farming operations, like repairs, maintenance, and administrative duties to be under one roof.

Features

1,600 Sq Ft

The mezzanine that creates a second-floor in Wendell’s farm shop with office and wash bay increases the functional space within the building by over 1,500 square feet.
