Barndominium with Wrap Around Porch
A Small One Story Barndominium Designed for the Comforts of Country Living
Designed For You
When Kyle and Louanne set out to build their dream home, they chose a small barndominium with wrap around porch to capture panoramic views of the countryside and foothills. Inside, a one bedroom layout provides comfort, with the attached shop space offering convenience and security. Finished with clean, modern details, their barndominium stands confidently against the scenic rural backdrop
Wrap Around Barndominium Porch
Designed to Capture Panoramic Views
A covered porch with exposed timbers wraps around three sides of the home, providing a comfortable, relaxing space to slow down, take a breath, or enjoy morning coffee. Protecting the main entrance guards against snow drifting and moisture, making the porch more than just an aesthetic detail.
Premium exterior finishes, including fir planks on the ceiling and stone accents on the fireplace, are crafted into the porch to elevate the home into a modern barndo with rustic charm.

Attached Garage & Storage
Protection for What Matters Most
Behind the upgraded wood-tone overhead doors lies a spacious attached garage designed to bring daily convenience to Kyle and Louanne’s daily routines. Connected directly to the living space, the garage allows movement between home and vehicles or projects without stepping into snow, wind, or rain.
The integrated, separate storage area offers flexible space for seasonal equipment, recreational gear, and the everyday items that quickly accumulate on an acreage to keep the main shop area clean.

Open One Bedroom Layout
Designed for Simple, Intentional Living
Once Remuda finished construction of the shell, the small barndominium floor plan came to life. Because the home was built with post frame construction, the interior started as a blank, clear-span slate, meaning the layout wasn’t fighting load-bearing walls or support columns.
An open-concept kitchen, wood fireplace, master suite, and office all fit in the modest space comfortably. Integrated with direct access to the garage, the final result ties together the comfort, convenience, and security needed to live country life to the fullest.

Lean-To
Cost-Effective Covered Outdoor Storage
Tucked away along the rear of the home, the 11’ x 30’ lean-to extends the practicality of this barndominium beyond its enclosed walls. This open, covered space provides flexible sheltered area.
By incorporating a lean-to into the original design, Kyle and Louanne added functional square footage in a cost-effective way while maintaining the clean profile of the home. Positioned discreetly at the back of the building, it preserves the home’s curb appeal while enhancing everyday usability.
